Scottish National Portrait Gallery

Nicola Benedetti

As winner of the nationally televised competition ‘Sky Portrait Artist of the Year’ in 2021, Calum was commissioned by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery to paint violin supremo Nicola Benedetti. The painting now hangs as part of the permanent collection on display in Edinburgh.

Glasgow City Council

Philip Braat

In 2023 Calum was commissioned to create a portrait of the former Lord Provost of Glasgow, Philip Braat. The painting joined the Glasgow Civic collection and was on display in the Glasgow City Chambers until 2025.

Sadly this painting has been removed from public display due to circumstances outwith Calum & Glasgow City Council’s control.

Surrey County Cricket Club

Richard Thompson

In 2022 Calum was approached regarding a special surprise portrait commission for the then Chairman of Surrey County Cricket Club, Richard Thompson. The portrait was unveiled at the world famous Oval cricket arena in London where it now proudly hangs.
